ash404 is a blog I created, inspired by my friend pi, as an alternative way to share and connect with people on a platform that is separated from traditional social media.

This is my little corner of the internet where I can write semi-anonymously about whatever I want. The goal isn't to build a following, get likes, or go viral- it's a quiet space to express myself authentically. This site is intentionally lowkey, separate from my full name, usernames, or social media platforms. It's decoupled from the noise and endless scrolling of the internet, and will hopefully allow me to connect broadly with people in a more intentional way.

Also, it means that I, in some ways, can hopefully rely less on big nasty corporation owned social platforms. I've been moving away from Twitter/X for quite some time now, and have been really enjoying Bluesky, but goddamn am I missing the ability to have a private account, and I am also really into Instagram, despite my hatred of the Meta overlords.

All this to say: if you're here, welcome! You can sign up to this site to get emails when I post, and post comments on anything I write. Just please don't use my full name or any super identifiable details <3
